Abbotsford is a small 4 street suburb adjoining Oaklands which is under 5 mins drive from Rosebank, the Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket at the newly upgraded Norwood Mall , Orchards, Houghton, Waverley. It is a short 10 minute drive through the back roads to Sandton suburbs of Athol, Inanda and Sandown. The Melrose Temple is located in Abbotsford.

The Gautrain

The Gautrain is Africa's fastest train and with speeds up to 160km/h and underground routes, it will deliver passengers from O R Tambo Airport to Sandton in a mere 15 minutes. Passengers can transfer at Sandton to reach the Rosebank Station.

The Rosebank Gautrain Station is underground, located beneath Oxford Road between Baker Street and Tyrwhitt Avenue, opposite The Zone shopping centre.
