Abbotsford is a small 4 street suburb adjoining Oaklands which is under just across the M1 2 mins drive from Melrose Arch and 5 mins drive from Rosebank, the Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket at the newly upgraded Norwood Mall , Orchards, Houghton, Waverley. It is a short 10 minute drive through the back roads to Sandton suburbs of Athol, Inanda and Sandown. The Melrose Temple is located in Abbotsford.

Melrose Arch is expanding daily and offers a variety of restaurants, shops, offices, a hotel and apartments. Abbotsford House accommodation is a very reasonable alternative to staying at Melrose Arch.
